Each delivery is authenticated and claimed once before execution (HMAC VERIFIED, DUPLICATE BLOCKED), so a Shopify retry cannot create the same decision twice.

Eligible order and dispute events are normalized into the same five-state determination used across Quorum: Proceed, Review, Block, No Result, or Run Failure.

Deterministic Shopify Tags

Quorum writes the outcome and registered reason back through Shopify's GraphQL Admin API as deterministic tags for Proceed, Review, Block, No Result, and Run Failure.

What the connector actually does

After an approved installation, Quorum registers order and dispute subscriptions, verifies each delivery, maps it to the correct Quorum tenant, and runs only records with enough input for adjudication:

Accepted Events: orders/create plus signed dispute creation and update events
Security Boundary: OAuth installation, encrypted tokens, HMAC verification, and webhook deduplication
CAS-1 Output: QUORUM:PROCEED or a documented Review, Block, No Result, or Run Failure state
Shopify Feedback: Deterministic tags applied when enabled; a failed tag update is recorded separately and never changes the underlying decision
